I had a weird problem where a white coat of slime appeared on the suction cups of the heater in one of my tanks. I also had an incident with a similar, if not the same slime, on some dark blue coloured air tubing.
Is this slime Algae?
I've removed the heater suction cups and cleaned them off and I replaced the tubing with clear air tubing. I haven't added the heater back, it's too warm right now anyways.)
