Club meet and greet.

I do not think copasetic ment to offend anyone or tell anyone they are not welcome. I have to agree that when i discovered quinte aquatic society and forty fathoms forums i also assumed FFF to be for kingston area while the aquatic society was for quinte area. Not to say I ment that people from other areas cannot join, but it would be difficult for somone not from the quinte area to participate in any buying selling or adopting. And also difficult to attend meeting if there were any. I am a member of FFF aswell as the aquatic society, but I cannot buy or sell on FFF so it is far less used for me. There for i would most likely not attend an FFF meeting seeing as most members would not recognize smurf. On the other hand im sure many people from the quinte aquatic society find smurf to be familier. But again none of this means somone from a different area cannot join forums or attend meetings, also i dont beleive your name should be familier to everyone in order to attend. I just think it makes sence to have forums for each area so buying and selling does not consist of too much driving.

I forget who said they may have considered going but after seeing various post would think twice. I kinda remember being a member of a city forum when i was 14-15 and things got so dramatical that by the time i left the forum, 25 year olds were accusing me of performing descusting sexual acts on band members i worked with in exchange for cheap gaurantee's. All because somone argued who had the biggest turnouts. Theres no reason for people to take the internet or internet relationships that personnal. That was a forum about bellevilles local music scene, So I hope a forum about fish doesnt reach that level at any point. Were all here to talk about fish and if that isnt silly enough than it would be just retarded to see adults on an aquarium site become enemies over the internet. Personally I appreciate the amount of freebies and favours i have bin givin on account of meeting people on this forum, i care about that more than internet debate.

p.s. i like copasetics idea. Having people in somones house would be of much more comfort. Maybe go to a new house each meeting. Worst case scenario, lets have lunch together. Also seeing everyones tanks would be interesting, one persons house may have 2 or 3 while another persons may have 10.

If i had known "GKA" was kingston i would have never said that.. I was confused why ppl far away would even want to come.. kingston and eastern ontario is a giving, more the merrier. But ppl in toronto have lots of other clubs to join.

I would go. It would be nice to put faces to names, but more importantly finding people who have elusive or rare stock which they may decide to breed. Smile
